This maybe a vague and naive question, but...
Has anyone got an idea of how to use the MOSS 2007 query service using SOAP to search a sharepoint site from a separate ASP.NET website generated using CCS?
The SOAP service takes an XML query and returns an XML response, which I guess will need to then be parsed into HTML.
The aim is for the site user to be able to enter a search phrase and then display a single page with the results of searching google, MSN, the sharepoint site and several other databases, with each set of results in a separate <div>.
Thanks,
Peter

Hi there,
Here is a tool that allows you build easily SOAP packets to query the search web service: http://www.mosssearch.com/searchwebservice.html
You may wanna check the SDK also for additional details about MOSS/WSS web services: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyI...&displaylang=en
