I keep getting this error message when I publish my project. Any ideas how to resolve this issue?
I'm using ASP.Net 2.0 Framework and using the C#. with ASP.Net In-Motion Framework as the language. IIS 6.0 on Windows 2003 Server Standard.
Warning:Error occurred when creating Virtual Directory in IIS: Unable to find specified host. Please verify the Server URL host name. It should match the IP Address of the Default Web Site in IIS.
If you could send me an e-mail atkescott@hotmail.com

Quote wkempees:
Come'on you cannot use an entire error message as topic post!
LOL... he wasn't the first to do that:
http://forums.codecharge.com/posts.php?post_id=79531
The exact same error message used as the topic title.
Could one of you receiving the error, please post the entire error message you're getting, including error code, if present? Is this an error message from CCS or IIS?

I didn't resolved it yet.....It's annoying....
I'm using the same configuration as you - kescott -. When I'm trying to create a project in CCS....with ASP 3.0 with templates it works just fine....but when I change the language in ASP.Net In-Motion Framework, i get this error.
If i'll have something new about this issue i'll let you know....
Bye

kescott and ghita1,
Are you trying to publish to a different host other than your localhost?
And/or the Virtual Directory is using alias other than the name of the server (this may be the culprit)?
We're getting the same warning with every publish, but we are ignoring them; once you had setup the Virtual Directory for a project (creating the VD and its application), you may want to uncheck Create IIS Application property (http://docs.codecharge.com/studio3/html/Components/Properties/createIISApplication.html ) from the Project Settings.
