How do I get the date picker to insert the current date & time.
The format = dd/mm/yyyy H:nn and at the moment results never put the right time in it defaults to 24/06/2008 0:00 ?

Actually the date picker will bring the Date on the field flagged for the PopUP.
CurrentDate or CurrentDateTime as Defaultvalue
Note: If field belong to a Record and the Record is in Update Mode the date wont change using Property Method, you will have to use on before Show and ask for Empty
Important: Date Picker is a Date Picker not a TIME Picker.
