I have a pretty simple form that has a lot of information that can be entered once and then repeated over again for the next record. For example, a customer's information could be entered on the form along with other data, and then submitted, then return to the form an use that same customer's information again with different additional data. On a search form you can carry over information, but on submit for a record you cannot (at least not that I have been able to figure out).
I tried changing the submit into a search and then adding a Submit Form as an OnClick event. This works most of the time, but it seems that every few records it will not actually submit (it looks like it submits, but the record is never passed to the database). We have lost a lot of data this way, so I had to remove that feature.
Does anyone know a good way to pass certain fields from one record form to the same form again after a submit?
I'm using CCS 3.2.04, SQL Server and ASP.

Read this thread and the topicc in it by ReneS, near the bottom http://forums.codecharge.com/posts.php?post_id=87354&s_keyword=clone
It describes the way to do it.
Walter
Summary:
On the Form Enable the InsertButton, through BeforeShowEvent.
Change the Button to a (custom made in Styles) Copy or Clone Button.
