it seems as if superpdf commanline doesn't work with URLs.
i always get the message "cannot print. file type not registered".
and on windows server 2003 i can't get it to work at all.
there must be a security/permission problem though i did everything
the superpdf help said to resolve the problems (dcom settings etc.)
can anyone help?
regards

Hi Oliver,
bad news: according to the System Requirements of SuperPDF on the Codecharge site:
OS: Windows 2000 or XP (note: currently Windows 2003 Server is not supported)
In the past, I've tried to install SuperPDF on Windows2003 server, but failed. Also contacting didn't help. So unfortunately, you'll have to look for alternatives, I guess.
Cheers and greetz from Holland, Rob.

You may want to think about switching to ABCPDF - free as long as their is a link back to them.
http://www.webgoo.com/products.htm#pd
It is a product that is on nearly all hosting sites and seems to be one of the better alternatives.

hi ed,
thanks for your suggestion.
the problem is that it is an intranet application for a large german automotive company
where employees are not allowed to surf the internet without many restrictions.
that means:
1. the link won't go through the firewall/proxy, the employess won't get to the webgoo site
2. webgoo people won't be able to get inside the intranet to check if the postition of the link fits their needs
any other suggestions?
regards
