How do I setup a report that will group by month?
Example:
April 2008
Event 1
Event 2
Event 3
May 2008
Event 4
Event 5

Hmmm, the way you put it, in reportbuilder group by month..... don't know what else to say.

I went to whole way through the "Report Builder" wizard and I didn't see any mention of the "group by month" option. On what step is this located?

Hi,
I assume you have a month field (or date, datetime etc.) in your database to go with the events. If that is the case, you can group by it. If not, then you can't. If you do have one, you can set up an sql statement dat can pull the month from your date field and use that for grouping in your report.

I thought that might be the case, I was just hopeing that codecharge would have that option "built in" when grouping by dates or datetime fields to select by month and year. Your post just made it sould like it already did....
