I am looking for someone to help me with a code solution. I can pay £50 by paypal once I have the solution working
I need to find the distance between two points using latitude and longitude. this calc should be done for each record in a table then filter only those within a certain distance from the original point
I have the formula for doing the calc but I dont know how to get the calc within the grid and to filter the results.

contact me if you are interested. and I will explain in more depth.

Cheers

What are you using for location of zip code? When I use Google maps for zip code to zip code they do not agree with the mileage in your solution.

Hi...

google maps use a composed calculation on distances... means they go pont by point they don't use a stright line... my script does it... I use longitude and latitude to calculate the distances...

Normally it varyes about 10% ... now who's right or wrong..? it dependes on what are you looking for...

driving, flying, closest location....

Let me know

Regards
