So I just switched over to a Mac in the office. Unfortunately we all know that CodeCharge does not have a Mac version, so I set up Virtual PC in the hopes that I could run CC from within it.
Unfortunately, no dice. It installs beautifully and everything seems hunky-dory, until I actually start the program. I get a "busy in background" cursor for about a second, and then nothing. I check the running processes, and Codecharge doesn't even show up.
The system is running using 256MB of my Mac's ram, and when it's in the foreground it has full access to the processors (no throttle). My mac is:
Dual G4 866Mhz
1GB ram
14GB free hard drive space
The VPC is Windows XP Pro with SP2.
Any thoughts?

No suggestions, just an information:
I'm constantly using CCS3 under VMWare 5.5, np.

Well, that Codecharge runs fine under VMWare doesn't surprise me since VMWare is Windows software to begin with. I think there may be a problem with the way Mac hands VPC hardware information and the like, but I'd think it would at least start up, even if it didn't function properly.
My hope is that perhaps somebody else has tried this before and knows maybe some secret VPC setting or something that will make it magically run. Hmm.

Here is the solution at post http://forums.codecharge.com/posts.php?post_id=54331&s_keyword=virtual+pc
The real secret is turn on applescript menu un compatibility mode. That solves all problems. Do not forget to use visual styles to less, some times using full xp styles makes too slow almost imposible to use.
