I figured out how to do this today and thought I would share it with everyone.
In your page where you want the barcode to be displayed, have a label that contains the barcode field.
Next to it place an image (off the forms panel). Right click on it and go to image properties.
In the image box type in the following:
<img src="http://www.eazyservices.com/barcode.asp?eMail=my@domain.com&BarcodeType=4&ImageType=1&Data={barcode}">
You will have to register at www.eazyservices.com (it's free) and then enter your registered email address in the code above.
On the site there is alsit of barcodes and their relevant number, you can also specify image type, font size etc.
The info is at www.eazyservices.com.
That's it. When you generate that page, the barcode will be a nice scannable barcode image.
Simple.
Only drawback is that if you have several barcode images on one page it takes a while to load them.
On the site there is a way to house the barcoding url generator on your own site, but that is beyond my capabilities (right now :) )
Enjoy!

I'm glad it worked for you.
Let me know if you have any suggestions.
