Just thought of sharing my knowledge about the
"...
Error:Oracle client and networking components were not found. These components are supplied by Oracle Corporation and are part of the Oracle Version 7.3.3 or later client software installation. Provider is unable to function until these components are installed
..."
problem.
I had a JSP application created some time back using Oracle as datasource. When I tried to edit the queries in that app, I got the above error.
After googling for some time and doing trail and error, I found that I did not have Oracle set in my "PATH" environment variable.
Adding Oracle to the PATH fixed the problem.
Hope this might be of some help to others.
