I have seen a number of posts that are in regard to issues publishing to on-line sites.

For those who like to work in a intermediate step, ie publish to a local drive THEN ftp to my clients site, I wan't to suggest a 3rd Party FREE product:

This is a great utility for keeping your clients sites with your local backup. I even use it for all my backups.

I bought the commercial version as I wanted to get some of the other stuff the product provides, but you don't need to purchase it.
