Data Source problem:

I am using iReport1.2.1
My questions are---

01. What is the basic concept of data source?
02. How can I create a data source in iReport?

Pls help me by proper instructions.

If still need.
Data source, most than all, is an posibility you to use some commerical connection pool.
You must adjust your servletContainer to create JNDI name which return connections.
For tomcat you must create context (not autodeployment) in server.xml and here adjust dataSource.
(Read tomcat doc for details).
Then you need adjust CCS project to use this dataSource.
