Hi, newbie alert!

I'm trying to select an image file after populating an IMG control (either
from the Forms toolbox or HTML toolbox). If I browse for the image I keep
getting a message: "You are trying to select an image that does not belong
to the current project" - and it wont let me continue. If I type directly
into the Src property I don't get this error. My images are stored beneath
the website folder, what else should I be doing?

Also: I want all my own images to be located (when published) in one common
folder, one level beneath the website folder. e.g.
inetpub\wwwroot\mywebsite\images - what is the correct Src for this when my
page is one further level deep (i.e. page is :
inetpub\wwwroot\mywebsite\mypagearea\mypage ?.... "images/filename"? or
".\images/filename"?

Many thanks in advance, be gentle!

Hi,

I believe that to include images in CCS pages your image files need to be somewhere inside your CCS project folder, but not in a Web folder. This way the image will be local to the CCS project, and later will be published to the Website and be local to the Website.

If you store images in subfolders then the proper HTML src syntax would be: "images/filename". And in cases where you want to include such image from another subfolder (also one level down) you can use "../images/filename".

Thank you for the reply, the first point however doesn't help me much. My
image folder is within my project folder ( I didn't really mean the
published website folder in my original post), this seems to make no
difference - I sitll get an error if I navigate to the image file using the
browse button. if I type directly in the Src property it is OK.

This has been confirmed to me as a bug.
