While integrating office web components (charts, pivot table, and sheet)with CCS, I came across the need for generating SQL for various reports where there are no grid or other UI controls on the page. Right now,I hand coded two simple classes i.e. clsNoUI and clsNoUIDataSource. The clsNoUI.Show() method parses any GET or POST URL parameters and writes the record set as XML using RecordSet.Save method and the clsNoUIDataSource does the building of the SQL and where parameter subsituation. Together these two classes can create an infrastructure to provide data to OWC componenets as XMLData.
It would be nice if a builder was there to do this automatically.
