I find myself popping outside of CSS to change page layouts in an external editor more and more.

The problem is I have M$ Frontpage and I dislike it in the extreme, I'm just wondering which external editor you folks prefer and which works best with CSS?

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

There is actually a thread on this subject.
Coffeecup HTML is a nice one, lots of features, clean coding..
Integration with Frontpage should be good, I haven't tried it though.
Is your dislike is concernig Frontpage in General or the co-operation with
CCS?

Frontpage in general basically, I have used it on and off since it's inception and grown to like it less and less with each version.

I'll check out coffeecup though, thanks.

Dreamweaver is my app of choice. I've just upgraded to version 8 and can't say anything against it. Using CCS to generate the application base and Dreamweaver to tweak and refine it, you can't go wrong.
