what is the code to get a string from a field out of the login table for a user with a login in ASP:

login username: marco
a=getparam("org")
b=dlookup("userlogin","company_id","user_name= '"&session("UserID") &"'")

In the open event for a page I would like to have control:
If a<>b then ...
