Hi all,
While browsing through the web i came across this software call code charge, i've watched the demo and it seems really nice and am looking to purchase it. But before i doi just want to kno a bit more about it. I kno the + side of it but wat about the - side, does it have any weakness? And if yes. Wat are they? For example if i create a project manager with this software, how easy will it be to modify it? How flexible is this software? Any answer would be welcome.
Best regards,
Roddy

roders,
It all depends on what you like and dislike in a development tool - I don't think that you will be disappointed. In my opinion there is no such thing as the perfect tool for everything but there are tools that are pretty close. I think that codecharge studio is a great tool. It fits my programming style and I am doing great things with this tool.

I would reccomend that you download the tool and give it a try. Is there room for improvements yes (tell me what product doesn't have room for improvement) but Yes Software does listen to its users, just checkout the wishes forum. If you go back to the first postings some of the wishes asked for have been implemented in the soon to be released 3.0 version and I wouldn't be surprises to see more wishes implemented in the future.

Also check out the winners of the Codecharge 2004 Developers awards and also checkout the showcase forum. Also, here are some other links you might want to look at. www.dataobjx.net and http://www.gotodon.com/ccbth/Client/SignUp.asp .

I am almost positive that Codecharge Studio will be a tool that you can add to your toolbox of development programs.

One thing I forgot to mention is that I came accross Codecharge by looking at the postings at Hotscripts.com and I have been a Codecharge Studio fan ever since (2003+). I actually purchased it for my personal business before I recommended it at my regular day job and boy did I make a splash with it. I was so excited that I even wrote an article for dataobjx.net magazine (http://forums.codecharge.com/posts.php?post_id=53667&s_keyword=mambobrown). I could go on but you must make the final decision. Enjoy!!!!! :-)

I agree with mamboBrown, there is no tool that does everything. The thing that lead me to Codecharge Studio is that it is NOT a closed box. Everything that it generates can be changed, explored and enhanced.

I use CCS as my base and add on all sorts of third party tools. The nice thing is - THEY ALL FIT.

Version 3.0 of CCS is being delivered, probably as we speak. It has some great new features and for the price - the best on the market.

How come someone ask a question about code charge in the codecharge forum and you go on about code charge studio.

Code Charge Orginal is by far a better product than studio version the only pity is that yes software dont see it as such

With Code charge you can produce pure php files with embedded HTML in your code where as Studio requires you just to seperate the html from the code.

PHP Nuke could be replicated using code charge so much easier that if you used studio.

As you might have guessed am a big fan of code charge.
