Now that I got past my own stupidity, I am getting the following error:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: odbc_pconnect() in /u/web/azchat/portal/db_odbc.inc on line 30

I get this error (on line 35 of db_odbc.inc) in the Employee Directory Appl as well. I assume it has something to do with the MySQL implementation I have on our Verio hosted site. (only allowed one database, it is MySQL and I am using localhost, dbname is azchat, then user name and password -- all are coded in common.php)
Any suggestions?

I think it's either PHP is not compiled with ODBC support or you try to
use ODBC on unix host.
