i coded an onclick event for a button. the html code shows the onclick="redirect" but when published and i look at the generated aspx page, the onclick is gone. my script code is there but the onclick event is gone from the button. i manually chged the generated aspx page by putting the onclick back on the button with notepad . the page works after doing this.
the properties(format) tab clearly show the word Redirect is on the event and the the HTML shows the proper code before publishing

In .net, I had to do this in the before show
mybtn.attributes("OnClick") = "javascript..."
