I would love to be able to create a grid and assign the same hyperlink and params across all labels in the grid. This would update row and alt-row labels to the same link and params.

I think this is what you want:
Create your grid.
Right Click on the labels -> change to -> link
On the link use the properties set the following:
href type - Page
href source - use the list page to select the page you want to goto and add the params.
There is also a reference in the help guide under the programming language, that has helped me alot.
