I sell books online through Alibris and would like to start my own bookstore. I found these codecharge codes generated for an online bookstore but I am not a programmer. I am a web designer. I already have a website for my retail store but would like to ad an online store to it. Am I silly to think that I could set this up myself using these codecharge codes? The whole thing looks confusing to me and I am not sure if I am even in the right forum to be asking such a question. Do I sound like an idiot? Yes I do! So do you need to have some programming knowledge to do this or can your average web designer work with these code templates?

Sorry, but I'd say that this software is not for you. You would need to have good database experience and at least some programming background.

my my Peterr you sound discouraging  esp. coming from a software support.
To trishk you gotta have a lot of determination if you want it done you'll find a way right? You've found already the sample online bookstore there is such a thing as a learning curve. And CCS maybe your right choice if you PERSIST

Ryan, this post is 7 months old. And yes, we do not have a policy of promising everything under the sun and telling everyone that our product is for them when it's not. Don't you think that I'd know who our product is for?
