There are quite a few good ideas that could be handled if you enabled some sort of plugin support.
For example, it would be an easy thing to create a plugin for CVS (or Subversion, Visual Source Safe, ClearCase,etc.) if there were some sort of plugin api that lets us put our own items on the tools menu.
If you did it that way you could let the community build the add-ins without taxing your existing resources, and without guessing which new features would be most popular. You could in turn focus on the core product.

and by the way, it will be possible to integrate good plugins within a new version of CCS.
