While you can deny access to pages or controls with the existing security
mechanism, it would be handy (especially for Includes or other controls) to
have "Invisible" as an option. This way, if a feature was not authorized
for a user, it could simply be hidden (as if it was not even there).
Might even consider extending this to the "Edit mode" so that things could
be hidden/shown depending on whether you were editing, inserting or just
browsing. I'd like to have labels interchange with textboxes, or with
dropdown lists, so that once inserted, they simply appear as text unless I
explicitly choose to edit the data. This way I could provide the same exact
form to read-only users and "read/write" users. Less coding and maintenance
effort! I often need "printable" pages and not having the ugly listboxes
and textboxes printed would become a possibility.
