I am using CCS 2.3 with PHP/MySQL/Apache on Win 98SE

Has anyone got a solution for an upload progress bar? :-<

As part of my little image gallery/db it is becoming necessary to know the progress of a 5-10Meg file upload.

There is a solution (which I am working on implementing) to be found at http://www.raditha.com/php/progress.php

With my limited PHP knowledge I am trying to integrate the progress bar part of the package to work with CCS (latest version) upload component. I found through my searching that Perl/CGI is needed to make up for functions that PHP does not support, like - PHP doesn't have access to the file while it's being uploaded. - Detecting the connection/server speed for the upload (maybe implemented in PHP5).

On the forum for the scripts it looks like the CGI part of the process has been transcribed to PHP.

Has anyone had sucess , or are you knowledgeable enough to make this solution work with CCS.

Zye ... :-)

Why don't you just install ActivePerl on the server, and then it should run
fine.
