Can someone provide help or sample code to save/retrieve a file ? My requirement is to save attachment(s) to a Shift_Note record.
The shift_note table structure is roughly as follows :
Sr.No (auto sequence)
Note_Date date
...
..
Note_item varchar2
Note_Desc varchar2
...
...
Attachment blob
I would want to save the file attachment to the 'Attachment' field in the table when user clicks the 'Add' or 'Submit' button on the record form.
Can you please let me know how i should go about doing this and also if i should change the table structure in any way to make the file upload work?
Can I do this using CSS ? If so, what would my custom insert or update look like?
