Is their a way to remove projects from the CCS Dialog box which is
displayed each and every time CCS is started. I have some old
projects which have been replaced and want to remove them from this
list.

Ideas?

Hum nice one.
Again one that I have been struggeling with, but forgot about.

But I recently reinstalled CCS (latest) clean, see XML3 engine not
registered post.
So my problem is solved, and (implicitly) is one of the solutions.

The directions listed below will have the user modify the windows
registry and the user will need to understand when modifying the
registry on the local machine could make the computer unresponsive.
Make sure you backup your registry file before making any changes
just incase something goes wrong you will be able to restore the
origional registry.

Proceed with the following instructions at your own risk.

Run Regedit by clicking on Start -> Run -> Regedit

Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\YESSOFTWARE\CODECHARGESTUDIO

You will see a Folder on the left hand side which says Recent
Document List and you will click on this folder. On the right hand
pane of the registry editor you will see entries like:

Document1 REG_SZ C:\My Website\virtuals\calendar.localhost\...

Document2 REG_SZ C:\{Another Path to \} ProjectName.ccs

.....

DocumentCount REG_DWORD 0x00000003 (3)

To Remove an old project from the dialog box simply click one time on
the Document# and press the delete key on your keyboard. When you
have removed all the old projects simply close out of the Registry
Editor and run CodeChargeStudio. Your Project Dialog box will display
the Document# entries which were left.

Actually, I found a possible way - by mistake.

When you create a project, it goes into the 'recent projects' list.

I had created a test project and it appeared in the list.

A few days later I decided I didn't need the Test directory any longer and deleted it.

The next time I fired up CCS, I say the 'Test project' in the recent projects list.

I clicked on it and it informed me that the project no longer existed.

I clicked ok on the warning dialog and when the dialog went away - so did the 'Test project' from the recent file list.

I don't know if YesSoftware did this by design or if it's a bug... but if it's a bug - it's ok by me as it deletes the reference from the 'recent projects' list.

In summary;

Delete or rename the folder the project resided in.
Then open CCS and click on the project... it should give a warning and then it removes the reference.

Works the same on both my machines.
