Is there a way to force a grid form refresh programatically?

I have a grid based on a SQL query, and when I leave the
page to edit a subset of the record data and return, the grid
results are not always refreshed correctly.

Everything looks fine again when I manually refresh the
browser page, but I'd rather this be done programatically.

It seems intermittent.

This is strange behaviour.
Could you please ellaborate on:
Is this a standard grid/record combination?
Are you using any 'special' way of going to the record form?
Are there any gields in the grid that are not in the main sql, meaning
programmed lookups ?
Is your grid using alternate rows, this method could be confusing.
You mention Intermittent, meaning that is does work and sometimes id
doesn't, or the other way around?

It is custom grid, and part of the grid field results are based on
using a custom function which is included within the PHP source.

Are you using any 'special' way of going to the record form?
No, just a link with required URL info - the record is shown on
a seperate form page.

Are there any gields in the grid that are not in the main sql, meaning
programmed lookups ? Yes - and I suspect this is the problem.
I'm using two fields that are in the main sql to calculate the column
to be shown in the grid column. Sometimes, I need to refresh the page
to see the most recent results for this field - it happens periodically.

Is your grid using alternate rows, this method could be confusing.

No, I'm not using alternate rows.
