I'm attempting to update a record, but it is not saving
the fields I want correctly.

This is a partial update, where only some of the fields
within the record are updated, so I assumed a custom
update for just the fields I need would work.

If someone has experienced similar problems when
attempting to update only some of the fields for a record,
and been able to resolve the problem, I'd appreciate any
ideas on how to fix this . :-)

Are the new values going anywhere?
Are they perhaps appearing as a new record? Disable Insert and Allow Update
How do you know that you are working in the correct entry? Perhaps add a
Label with the id so that you know the correct record is being displayed and
not the default record?

I was able to resolve the problem .... very strange.

It seems that when listboxes or a radio box group
are populated but disabled (on the client side), the
database columns attached to these items are not
set with the results. Instead, they are set to NULL.

Has anyone else experienced similar problems?
