I have been using CCS with PHP and would now like to start using Servlets and JSP.
Does anyone have any example Java code/project

Dekacode,
CCS includes several examples. Just create new project, select solutions tab, choose from included examples and set the target language.

None of the included examples hava any event code
Do you have samples of good event coding practice in Java?

All examples in CCS Example Pack contain event code in Java. Those are best examples to look at.
