CCS has generated the default Search and List page.
The listing of the records is sorted by the first column which is
the primary key in a MySQL table.

(This primary key is an integer which is not null and auto incremented.)

So the default listing of the records is sorted in ascending order by CCS.

I would like to change this sort order to descending.
That way the latest records are on top and I can stop the unnecessary
scrolling every time.

How do I change the default sort order of the first column in the
Search and List page.?

Hi,

In the list page Grid property, click Data Source , at the buttom of the Data Source form, you will find an Order By field click that and specify the primary key and choose Desc.

I hope that is what you want..

Yes, this helped.

Also, when I saw the Data Source form I was able to remove some fields that were no longer necessary.

Thank you.
