I have an editable grid and a few of the fields can be left blank.

If any of these fields are left blank, I just want to bypass record
insertions or updates - not flag the fields as errors.

Assume I have an editable grid named $Tasks and a field
named expected that will be one of these blank fields.

How can I check for these fields prior to performing an insert
or update, and what event is best to use for this?

Thankyou.
