We're pleased to announce the beta release of the Includable Calendar for Code Charge Studio: (As seen on the main page of our site since http://www.rexdesign.com/ccs/default.php a couple of years ago) What was a quick fix became a required module recently so here's the modular version.
- Calendar Theme matching CCS host page
- Monthly navigation with today (~) link
- Week number display
- Clickable dates producing a standard query string
- Thematic highlighting of today & selected day
- Auto-resize to container dimensions
Database capability is built-in but defaults to disabled as the steps needed require intermediate CCS experience. These steps are described in the tutorial.
The usual caveats apply : this is experimental code, use at your own risk, do give acknowledgement where applicable and please contribute your improvements.
The custom code is sprinkled with some explanatory comments, further development can be debated in the forum thread for this component:
