Hi there,
Newbie to ccs, so excuse my question if it seems really dumb.
How can i open a recordset in the beforshowrow event?

Dont worry, finally figured it out........
Still very new to classes and inheritance etc.
Anyone got a nice link for me where i can maybe easily learn how about classes, inheritance, etc?

However, you probably don't need to deal too much with object-oriented programming unless you decide to get deeper into manual programming. When using CCS you shouldn't need to modify the generated classes, just learn how to refer to the existing controls (grid, textbox, label) and possibly access the database as you mentioned that you did. I think that our tutorials and the "Programming" section in the documentation should be a good place to start.
