When I select some content from within design view , I would like to be able to switch to HTML view and see the same content already located and highlighted. Dreamweaver does it this way and it makes it much easier to find that which I wish to edit in HTML mode.

With CCS I have to start from the top and go searching down.
Tedious...

Agree.

This would improve workflow with leaps and bounds :-)

A related activity would be the ablity to click on elements in the Project Explorer tree and be taken to that element's definition in HTML/Code

- quite like double-clicking on Custom Code snippets in the Project Explorer tree works right now;

Hope this is of interest to the developers as GUI improvements enhance all users interaction.

Yes, yes, yes. YES - this would save my tired eyes from a lot of straining.

I know several of the limitations in the CCS environment are due to the MS
HTML edit control having limitations. Maybe they will find workarounds or a
more robust component to use in place of the current one, to improve the
user interface It's good, but could be much better.

Yes, I think this is very important for editing.

For now I have to open the page in Frontpage to do the editing since I can see the code and the actual page on the same page.
