It'd be nice if there was a builder button [...] for the Remove/Preserve
Parameters properties. Perhaps at least a popup text box to type the
semi-colon seperated values into.

I agree, in fact I would like the preserve parameters option extended so you could have the options 'none', 'get', 'get and post' or a semi colon separated list as in the remove parameters option. When you are passing in the region of 20 parameters and only want to preserve, say, 3 of them it is a real pain typing in all the remove options and then remembering to keep it updated.
