Hi all,

i hav used setWhere("where clause"); in beforeBuildSelect () method,
but an SQL exception occurint like
"You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'where...."

if i use the same where clause in Properties box in datasource properties,it's working cool.then were 's the problom.i hav put lot of time there.but dont recognize the problom

how to solve?

I got the answer myself..but this is a very possible error for coders use CCS.

there is no need of a where in setWhere() method.

i mean

setWhere("where clause") in where clause,if u wrote

setWhere("where id= xxxxxx"),u'll get error.

if u use

if u use

setWhere("id= xxxxxx") it'll be fine/
