Hello everybody,

I'm building an newsletter-application, but there is a thing I can't get done yet.
After a newsletter is sent, it is stored in the database in the tabel 'mail'. The most important fields in this table are 'mail_id', 'subject' & 'text'.
I also have an mail-archive where the administrator can watch the sent newsletters. The thing I want to do is re-using the newsletters. People should be able to edit the newsletter, and it should be stored in the database under a new 'mail_id' so the old, original newsletter isn't overwritten.

Can anybody tell me if there is a way to re-use a text and store is under a new id?

Many thanks!

Michael

OK, problem solved!

I found an excellent example to do this at http://ccs.ath.cx/~ccs/kb.php?category_id=63&language_id=1&event_id=87

Hope this is usefull for other people as well!
