Hello,
I am moving from one page to another by way of an a href=""
that correctly generates the appropriate
maint_progname.php?id=<some_id_number>
URL parameter.
The id # is being correctly found on the maintenance page
because I can see it being written into a hidden field..
however.. no data is being displayed for values being
selected in the pages record form.
I have tried changing the search from table and using
the query builder, and using raw SQL select statements
to no avail.
I have also checked and re-checked the forms bound data columns to ensure they are referencing the correct data columns.
No matter what I do this one page just does not retreive any data for the corresponding id.
This is the last of about 15 other list/maint type pages
that all function correctly..
any suggestions?
Stephen

Hello,
I circumvented the problem by populating required fields
with URL data passed through from the previous page.
However, I could not reliably retrive the corresponding database fields?

I believe that your record form doesn't know which record you are accessing.
Please take a look at: http://forums.codecharge.com/posts.php?post_id=44269 http://docs.codecharge.com/studio/html/UserGuide/Forms/ug313.png http://docs.codecharge.com/studio/html/UserGuide/Forms/RecordForm.html
