Hi !

I'm considering to buy your product, seems to be an amazing software.

However, I have 2 questions:

1.- Dose CCS has a feature to generate Dynamic Listboxes?

eg. When selecting a "Country" from first Listbox the second Listbox "State" shows only the States for that Country.

2.- Dose CCS security features can implement a security level to allow user to see, edit or delete his/her own records only?

Thanks in advance for any advice!

Manuel

Hello.
First:
You can make dependet Listboxes with Javascript onchange.
There are many postings in this forum or hear:
www.gotocode.com / Tips and Articles

Sec.
You can make unlimited Security Levels in CCS for a Side or a Form.
That allow User to see what you want.
Sorry about my english

vago,
These features are not fully automated but can be implemented.
Actually, there are hundreds of possibilities of implementing record security depending on how your database is structured and what you'd like to do. Some of the solutions can be done with only couple lines of code. Several examples of record-security are in our tutorial at
http://docs.codecharge.com/studio/html/QuickStart/EnhAp...rInitEvent.html (also in the Help file).

The dependent listboxes could require more tweaking but one solution is posted at http://support.codecharge.com/kb_article.asp?article_id=61
I also found an example at http://www.gotodon.com/ccbth/examples/dependentlistbox.asp?cid=6
Another solution would be JavaScript-based, which CCS doesn't do so you would need to write own PHP function that will create such JavaScript, or find examples on the net.
