Hello,
How can i add a Search parameter in a custem sql based grid.
I've tried the following but then the grid contains no records.
AND tablename.field like '%{fieldname}%'

Your SQL code look OK, but you also need to click the [+] button and define the "fieldname" parameter.

Helo,
I wan't to define the search by a search form, thus SEARCH FORM, CUSTOM SQL BASED Grid.
Therefore i think it is not possible to define the parameter via the + button, because the search form transfers the parameter.

I understand and the answer is the same 
The Grid simply needs to know which of the search fields you are using and therefore you need to specify this in the grid parameter definition. Otherwise {fieldname} is just a word without any meaning.
