I've created a page that is used in multiple projects. It is a very complex page that I'd like to keep secured where possible. In one of the projects I'd like for the security to be totally disabled --in that project only. Is there an easy way to accomplish this?

Could you please explain what you mean by disabling the security? Do you want everyone to be able to access that page without logging in?
And how is this page "used in multiple projects"? Did you copy it to each project? If so, you can change the security settings in each project by changing the "Restricted" property of the page.

I decided to automatically log in a user and keep the security on. The page is physically copied from one to several other projects (they all have the same security model and values). I was looking for a way to add code into the "master" copy that would completely disable security - make it available to everyone - in the page when it is used in a particular project without (manually) changing the restricted property.

I believe that you can do this only at the design time.
But you could also implement your own security mechanism, for example by copying the function CCSecurityRedirect and using modified version in page's After Initialize event.
