Hi,

I have a form that user can upload their related files. After they click OK,
I want the PHP to automatically sent email to administrator PLUS
automatically attached their files. I do it using HTMLMIMEMAIL. But I got
difficulty.

File Upload Component is automatically rename their upload file into
"yyyymmddHHnnss#.<originalName>", that CANNOT recognize by the
htmlmimemail/phpmailer component. The error is like this: Warning:
fopen(./200403171617390.filename.doc): failed to open stream: No such file
or directory in c:\inetpub\wwwroot\test\htmlMimeMail.php on line 162

I already make an experiment and found that the problem is with the DOUBLE
DOT in file name like 200403171911450.test.jpg If I use only test.JPG the
attachment is run smoothly. I found this kind of error happened not only
with HTMLMIMEMAIL but also PHPMAILER. I use PHPMAILER before, but because it
cannot work I switcth to HTMLMIMEMAIL but got the same problem.

It seems the issue may be related to the mailer script, It may try to
recognize the MIME type of the file by checking its extension (the dot's
position in the filename). Folks, do you have any suggestion to change the
FIRST DOT in file upload component to other symbol like DASH or something
else or in what part I have to change the code in HMTLMIMEMAIL/PHPMAILER?

I don't know the answer, but if no one else responds please try contacting our support. I suspect that some minor change in one of the Common files could be sufficient for you.
