Can't find a way to select two cells in a table to merge the two cells. No matter how I select the cells the "merge" selection in the TABLE menu in CCS remains grayed out.
How does the merge cells feature work?
Thanks,
Eric

All the cells that you like to merge must be side-by-side (in a single row). Cells in multiple rows cannot be merged.

I had the same problem trying to merge empty cells. The workaround is to put some text (a space will do) in the cells and then run the cursor over them so that the text is selected. The merge menu item should show up then.

Yeah, I also noticed that you can't select an empty cell to merge together with other. I prefer not to use the invisible space character though to select and merge, because I could forget I put it there and wonder later why my text alignment is off a bit...

Hi,
You could simply Open your project externally using Dreamweaver and you can merge and also split cells as much as you like and as any position.
