I used the search replace to change the <title> on my pages to something a little more standard. after I did this. I tried to add a link to my page and now it errors out. If i change the html from <title>pagename</title> to <title>pagename2</title> in the html, the change does not reflect on the .aspx view in the code tab. It is like the pages are out of sync and won't update. I have also tried updating the body by right clicking on the page and that doesn't work either. I can't edit any more of my pages without getting an error.

Has anyone had this problem before.

I don't feel like re-creating all 100+ pages so any help would be appreciated.

Press F9 to compile and publish the whole project.
You can also try changing the "Files to publish" option in Project Settings -> Publishing. For example from "Project Files" to specifc extensions, or vice-versa.
I recommend backing up your project before making any further changes as well.
