 Give Publishing a "panel"

I'd like to see a new panel added to the IDE for configuring and executing
the publishing process. It would be especially nice to have several
complete "profiles" definable - such as local test, server test and server
production. All these would let me configure the connections, filepaths and
URLs one time and then my publishing would a a one-touch operation.

I can't count the number of times I accidently published to the production
server by mistake (thinking I was configured for "local").

This concept would be even better if there was a display of "stale" pages
(edited but not yet published) so I could tick several of them and do one
"quick publish" for all of them at the same time.

I'd also like to be able to hide the "live page" tab (or get prompted before
it begins) because sometimes I hit that when I meant to hit "preview" - this
ties in with the above comment about accidently published pages.
