I have searched this forum and can't seem to find an example that closely resembles my issue. I'm using CC, ASP, & MS SQL.
I'll simplify:
I have two tables, Table1 and Table 2.
Table1 has 3 fields:
FName, LName, PNumber
Table2 has 8 fields:
OrderID (Autoincrement), FName, LName, PNumber, PlusUpg, DeluxeUpg, FamDeluxeUpg, Total
I want to create a record that displays the 3 field from Table1 and only the (OrderID (Autoincrement),PlusUpg, DeluxeUpg, FamDeluxeUpg, Total) fields from Table 2 but upon 'Submit' updates only Table2. I know how to use session variables to get the info from Table1 to display, I'm just hitting a wall on how to display fields from Table2 and update only Table2. I'm a newbie so please be gentle in your explanation if this is possible. Hopefully, I've explained this well. Thanks in advance for your help.
