There was a question posted here the other day about getting this to work in
CCS. I have gotten the Persits pieces to work with my own CCS project and
documented the process. You can download it as a PDF file from my new
download page (a whopping ONE file in there so far :).

Hi Don.
I'd love to download this IF your login system worked.
I am registed on your system, but when I goto the Download page I get told I have to sign in again. Main page says I have logged on.
As I am currently working on an app that uses this componetn I'd be most nterested in adding the progress bar.
I may be able to help you as I also have got the Upload component saving directly into a BLOB, rather than saving a file.
Dave

Well, that's embarassing. Apparently I've been granting the incorrect
security level ("none", basically) to everybody. The login is OK, but I
locked the download page a bit more tightly than the rest of the portal so
that page was booting everyone out, apparently.
I enabled your 3rd (latest) registration and deleted the first two. You
should be able to get in now.

Many thanks Don
I have been playing around with the file upload area because I need to store a blob into a database.
The Persits Upload actually loads the info into meory and that can be directly transferred into a DB using ADO.
So.. if xxx is an Object of type clsFileUpload
then xxx.files(1) is the Persits object of type UploadedFile
Hence the Binary, Md5Hash etc properties and methods are available for use.
Sadly the UploadFileManager object is not exposed, but a simple chance to you PDF code can expose this reference as a public variable.
Hope this proves interesting.
Take Care
Dave
