Compiling the project with the last jdk 1.4 generates many "deprecated" uses of old methods. It will be nice upgrade CCS java library to jdk 1.4 and Servlets 2.3
Thanks

Jose,
We try to be very cautious about upgrading CCS so that we don't damage the existing projects of our users. We don't believe that it is desriable to force everyone to upgrade to JDK 1.4 and have their ppast rojects no longer compatible with other (older) Java environments.
Most of the Java tools/products use deprecation because it is very difficult to support all possible combinations of different versions, such as Servlet specification 2.2, 2.3, 2.4 or JSP specification 1.1, 1.2, 2.0 - all of which are still being requested by our users.
We're also assuming that some users migt be selling their applications and also want to offer the compatibility for all Java versions, which we support.
Your suggestion possibly could be implemented as a new/separate Java generation feature. We have on our list, but the downside is that we'd have to support yet one more code generation template, which we try to avoid. I don't know yet when we will make the decision about this.
Thanks
