I have read the posts that are listed about credit card processing and have noticed that none of them are really answered because they refer you to the tutorial but in the tutorial it clearly states not to deploy in the real world situation? How is this helpful??
I just want to know how to verify and charge the card.. Can you help please??

Each credit card processor/gateway has their own method of processing credit cards and they provide their own instructions and documentation. Therefore the answer depends on the gateway provider that you select, such as VeriSign PayFlow, Authorize.net, etc.
These companies also provide various solutions, some are hosted by them and easy to implement by simply linking to their Website, others require that you do quite complex processing on your own Website.
We used VeriSign documentation to implement credit card processing in our own online store at http://www.codecharge.com/purchase/
For CodeCharge, we provide a basic tutorial "Integration of Online Bookstore with PayFlow Link Online Credit Card Purchasing System from VeriSign" at http://support.codecharge.com/tutorials.asp?product_id=1
However, we do not support any solutions developed with or without CodeCharge, including examples. We make examples very simple specifically so that we do not need to support them and debug problems associated with various applications instead of our own products.
If you want to charge credit cards in your applications then you probably should start with making sure that your bank will prequalify you as a merchant, then ask them about the Gateway software that they recommend (or sometimes require), then familiarize yourself with that Gateway software. The final implementation will depend on that.
This shouldn't be too complex if you select a hosted Gateway solution like PayFlow Link, but it still requires that you know what you are doing when implementing it. Our tutorial should be a good start and you can deploy a real world solution using it, but we cannot and don't want to be responsible for any software applications developed by others.
