i received a set of self written online forum asp file and database(access), but i have no idea how to make it work.
Tried opening the asp file with my browser or front page, but doesn't seems to work at all ( i heard ASP pages cannot run under Windows XP home edition, is it true ? i am using it )
can anyone guide me on how to make this forum operate ? whether in my own PC or wat so ever ...

XP Home does not include a web server. You can download something like
apache or tomcat, but I don't know that you can get Microsoft's Personal Web
Server (or IIS) running in your environment. XP Pro does include IIS.
